Proceeds from this beautifully illustrated children's book will benefit Downside Up, a Russian organization that provides resources to families in Eastern Europe who have children with Down syndrome. A high percentage of children born with Down syndrome in Eastern Europe end up in orphanages. Downside Up does their best to prevent this by educating families to help them stay together. 

Another portion of the proceeds will be saved for Natasha, in the hope that one day she will be allowed to come home to her loving adoptive family in America. Until then, the funds will be used to allow her to remain in her orphanage home after she turns 18. Normally, children like Natasha would be transferred to a mental institution at the age of 18 if they are unable to provide an income to fund their continued stay.
